Halloween Caramel Apples

I successfully made caramel apples and boy were they delicious.

Again, very simple:

Simply bought apples, different Halloween candies and the individually wrapped caramel squares at Bulk Barn along with the sticks.

Annoyingly I individually unwrapped all the caramel squares and put them in a bowl and set them in the microwave for about 3 minutes.

While that was heating up I stuck the sticks in the apples and got my candy all set up.

Once the caramel was melted I literally took the apple and dunked it into the caramel and set it aside to then decorate.

You can decorate however way you want, but warning the caramel dries quite quickly so I was rushing to make sure all the candy would stick onto the caramel.

I love Halloween and I can't wait to show you guys my outfit tomorrow!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!

Yesterday I finally went to the pumpkin patch with my sisters! I loved going around the patch picking my favorite and then checking out the baked goods and candies they had inside.

If you are wondering where the bath tub came from..we are still wondering that too. It was so random but of course took advantage of it and took some shots in it.

I wanted to wear something representing Halloween so an orange shirt fits perfectly. It is an Hermes inspired blouse however it is from a second hand store  haha

Halloween Cupcakes

 

I LOVE the holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas so I go all out for them.

This includes a lot of baking and creating fun Halloween treats :)

Here above are my Halloween Cupcakes I made.

Sooo simple :

Literally bought an already mixed cupcake/cake mix ..bought already made icing (can both buy at any grocery store) so not much thought process with that.
Then I went over the Bulk Barn which is my favorite store right now full of baking goods and candies.

I picked up some Halloween cupcake holders, some other fun Halloween items and of course Halloween inspired candy to decorate.

Lastly I bought some orange icing decorator to just give my cupcakes that added Halloween spirit.

Once you have all that you can go nuts and be as creative as you want to be with your decorating.

I will be posting a bunch more Halloween baking ideas through out the day, as well as another outfit post.

LG Fashion Week Outfit 1

Heyy guys

SO SORRY I haven't updated you guys in a bit. Super crazy with fashion week and school but I won't leave you guys hanging like that again...I promise!!

I am still uploading all the photos I took at fashion week and it's taking me forever so I will try my best to get that up asap!

I had the most amazing time at LG Fashion Week and I can't wait to show you guys some of the amazing Canadian designers spring/summer 2012 lines that I was able to take photos of.

LG Fashion Week

I am going to the Toronto LG Fashion Week this week :D 

I initially was looking up shows that I could attend and then I came across volunteering for the show. 

I applied for the full time volunteer and then was emailed to see if i wanted to be a specialist position volunteer.

I of course said yes and then I got an email a few days later saying I got the position. This means I will be the right hand man to the assistant PR girl Lauren Kim.

I checked out the venue yesterday and it looks awesome and made me even more excited for tomorrow!

I am able to wear what I want for the week so I will make sure I take photos of my outfit before but I may take a little bit to post them because I am working all day. I will also try to take photos of the shows and the venue more for you guys :)

Canadian Thanksgiving at the Cottage

This past weekend was the Canadian Thanksgiving! I am Canadian so I had a yummy filled family weekend! I wanted to share with you guys my weekend :)

Those are just the photos from my cottage on Saturday! I have other photos to add from Sunday and Monday but these are more exciting for sure. Now you must also be wondering where all my yummy treat photos are!? Well I have decided to make my Halloween / Thanksgiving treats it`s own post..that's how many treats I have made haha

Thanksgiving was wonderful,I truly love Holiday's and I love to get all excited over them, makes me happy :)
