Denim Jacket

Here is my look for today!

I'm not sure why I never caught on with the denim jacket trend, but when Mavi had this denim jacket with the black sleeves I knew this was my kind of jacket. The black sleeves make it unique and a little edgier which I love. I decided because I'm a tall lady and short jackets never look good on me, pairing it with a high waisted skirt blends with the short jacket nicely. I added of course a pop of pink with my lipstick, bag and heels and decided to put a pair of sunnies on, because the sun finally came out today!! Hallelujah!!!

Running Errands

Here is my look for today!

This week I have been a busy bee and very preoccupied with some fun things happening in my life!!

Having my weekends off are amazing but also crappy because I have to cram everything I need to accomplish before the weekends over. Today was full of errands! Renewing my passport because I hope to get away somewhere next month. Buying a mailbox at the post office for my blog then grabbing some groceries with my mom. I finished the day off with pampering myself by getting a shellac manicure. I went with black today as I've been feeling very dark lately. I think it's all the Vampire Diaries I've been watching lately. I wish I was a vampire...

Today called for a casual outfit and here is what I put together to just run around in all day. I have missed my converse, but with all the snow it just hasn't been possible to wear these bad boys. I decided to go a little vampy/dark with my casual outfit. Sometimes I just feel amazing in an all black outfit, some vampy lips and my look is complete. I made sure to still keep warm with my Chanel beanie, because there was bitter wind out today.

Olivetta Bags

Simple and Sexy on a Sunday

Here is my look for today!

I realized I almost had an identical photo last year except with a short sleeve black dress and darker nylons, but everyone needs some basic black dresses they can pop on and feel sexy in. This one is long sleeve which I prefer, especially in the winter. I could have gone all out with a pop of colour but kept with the black theme, although I'm regretting that decision now because I suddenly remembered my almost identical photo like this. Oh well, it's a wee bit different and I think it's a nice change up from my granny/business women style ;)

Last night I went to see Les Miserables in Toronto with my sisters and mom. I haven't been to a musical in a long time, so I was very excited. It ended up being amazing and I seriously thought the singers were lip synching, thats how great they were. Getting chills when the actress sang "On my Own" jeeze it was amazing.
