Pinterest Love

Within the past few years Pinterest has become huge. I for one have become obsessed and I love that you can go on there for truly anything. If you need an inspiring quote, outfit ideas, ingredients for baked goods or just admiring all the beautiful travel photos, you can be entertained for hours.
One of my favourite things to do on Pinterest is finding new people that share the same tastes as mine and then going through their boards and repin photos to my boards.
Paula Coop McCrory is a Canadian Pinterest "pinner" and has over 4 million followers. She is one of the 51 most powerful pinners in the world. This became very obvious to me as soon as I started following her. Almost every photo she pins, I'm pinning on my own boards.

Here are just a few of my favourite photos Paula Coop McCrory pinned.

Make sure you give her a follow, you won't regret it

Workout Wednesday : Running

Happy workout Wednesday!!!
I haven't done a post like this in a while but I've been working out like crazy lately and I wanted to keep you guys posted with what I'm up to.
I have mentioned to you before that I suffer from pretty bad anxiety...or I did. Ever since I started working out my anxiety has practically vanished. Obviously there were other key factors in helping it disappear but working out has been HUGE.
Whenever I feel angry or anxious I go right to the treadmill or run outside, and as soon as I'm finished I'm a new women. Up beat music helps a lot too and a positive mind set, but holy running has essentially saved me.
The last couple months I've also been very angry with certain personal issues and I literally run off my anger, I love it. When I finish, my anger and anxious feeling is gone and I feel like a stronger, more positive person.
Eating extremely healthy the last few months has also been a huge factor in all of this also. I know food affects everyone, but I've really learned just how important eating healthy is.
Not only has this been amazing for my mind but also for my body. I have never been this "fit" before and I'm so proud of myself and what I have done. I'm starting to see ab definition, my legs and butt are toned supreme and my arms are starting to actually look somewhat shapely.
I've also noticed my skin is glowing, my hair looks healthy. I've truly never felt better about myself.
Usually I will run at 8am outside, or run on my treadmill when I get home from work. I usually run for 30 minutes. Sometimes its a full run for 30 minutes, other times I run for 10 minutes, fast walk for 10 minutes etc.
I've more recently started doing squats after my run. I want a beautiful bum by summer (haha)
I started off with 50 squats with 5 pound weights in each hand and keep adding 50 every other day.
(I will have photos for you next week)

Anyways I just wanted to keep you guys up to date and I hope if there are those people out there wanting to work out or are being lazy, JUST DO IT...it really has been a life changer and I've only really been running.

Here are some inspirational photos for you and a photo of me before an 8am run..in the snow.

I will have another post up next Wednesday for you all.

Happy running ;)

Rain Boots

Here is my look for today!

It was a bit warmer today with the sun shining, which makes me the happiest lady!! The sun was melting everything so I was excited to bring out my new rain boots to trek through the puddles and mud. I paired it with this shorter cardigan I bought at Value Village. I usually always buy longer cardigans but I thought this one was so cute and a great casual, grab and go cardigan. It was the perfect outfit to run errands in today.
Now I'm all set to relax with some pizza and a movie, have a great evening :)

Windblown

Here is my look for today!

It was so windy today and sunny so my hair was going crazy and I was squinting like crazy. I love the sun but not so much the wind. It was so windy, our power went out for a bit. I still had to take a photo of course so I ran out quickly to take some snaps. I kind of liked some of the photos with my crazy windblown hair but it was also a pain in the ass.
These Mavi high waisted jeans have been my obsession lately. Not only are they the comfiest jeans ever, but the high waist makes it a bit more fashionable. I love tucking in shirts or sweaters, or  keeping it simple with crop tops.
When I first saw this crop top I really didn't think much of it. The pattern was gorgeous but it wasn't until many weeks lately I randomly tried it on. I ended up loving it and the back is beautiful as well. It's a gorgeous fit and perfect for spring/summer.

Stella & Dot Party

My friend Heather invited me to a Stella & Dot party a few weeks back and I jumped at the chance to mingle with friends while examining beautiful jewelry and accessories.
A representative from the company comes to your home, displays samples of the jewelry and accessories and at the end of the party you get to make your order and wait for it to arrive a few days later. It really is a great way to mingle and socialize while drooling over beautiful jewelry pieces.
In the end I bought a laptop case. They have seriously stunning bags and tech accessories. I was still using this giant clutch as my laptop case, which has absolutely no padding to actually protect my laptop. Considering I bring my computer to work everyday I figured it was time to buy a proper one. I ended up ordering one and picked this design (as you can see above ^^). Whats great is the size is a 15 inch, while my computer is a 13 inch so I have room to store my cords in the case as well.

Here is how a normal party is set up with the bags and accessories at the back. I'm so happy with my purchase and now really wanting to buy some jewelry.

When in doubt, wear stripes

Here is my look for today!

Yesterday was sunny and beautiful and it made me so happy. I decided to whip out my crop top to show off a little skin, but made sure I was still covered with a long sleeve and thick nylons. I decided to take this girly outfit and pair them with my favourite converse. I've been wearing nothing but heels lately, so putting a pair of chucks together instantly makes me feel comfortable.

Sweater : H&M
Skirt : H&M
Sunglasses : Ralph Lauren
Sneakers : Converse
Bag : Material Girl
Nylons : American Apparel
H Bracelet : Hermes
Diamond Ring : (Vintage)

Lipstick : MAC - All Fired Up
