Red Rock Canyon

Today we set out to Red Rock Canyon! This was a place we had on our list to check out while we were staying in Las Vegas. The Grand Canyon was too far away so we settled for Red Rock Canyon. I felt like I was in a western movie and the views were spectacular everywhere you looked. Some of these photos I look like I've been photoshopped in because the background looked fake. It was so beautiful and the national park was huge. The hat I'm wearing I bought 5 minutes before these photos. There was a cute Red Rock Canyon tourist shop when you first arrive and I fell in love with this hat. I was called Indiana Jones the entire day but I was okay with that ;)
Also, before you ask me where I got my Levi's shorts I actually bought a pair of high waisted Levi's jeans at Value Village and cut them into shorts. I highly suggest it, it was super easy and super cheap.

Patio Weather

My favourite thing to do on this trip is order on the patio and relax. This night while we were eating, they were setting up a wedding. Being the major creeps that my sister and I are, we obviously wanted to make sure to watch it. It just so happened that our balcony from our room had the perfect view. We watched the whole wedding and it was super cute, but also super gag me(hah). I just found it weird that so many random people were able to watch this intimate wedding (like us). Personally not my cup of tea.

Hoover Dam / Lake Mead

Driving to the Hoover Dam with Lake Mead in front (absolutely gorgeous)

Today we went to the Hoover Dam/Lake Mead. Obviously the Hoover Dam is a famous landmark so we had to make sure we explored it. It was absolutely beautiful, and after we stopped at Lake Mead to check out the blue water and gorgeous views.

Las Vegas Strip

The other day we set out to the Las Vegas Strip and boy was it a sight to see. Vegas Vacation is one of my families favourite movies so we had to see everything shown in the film. We started out in Old Las Vegas and went to the Golden Nugget which we remember so well from the movie. We decided because we were in Vegas we had to gamble in some way. We went to the easiest slot machine and won a whopping 1 cent, YES! We were satisfied with playing something and left to go to the main Vegas Strip. I kinda felt like I was in one big amusement park because everything looked fake. It was super cool though and seeing the water display at the Bellagio was awesome!

Today were off to explore the Red Rock Canyon, have a beautiful day :)
