Sorry I have been away from my blog for a few days, but I'm in LAS VEGAS!! It was sort of a spur of the moment trip and I just decided to keep quiet about it and surprise you all. I'm staying on Lake Las Vegas at the Lake Las Vegas Westin Resort & Spa and it is gorgeous here. It is about a 20ish minute drive from the Las Vegas Strip and 20ish minute drive to the Red Rocky Canyon/Hoover Dam. We plan on going everywhere and getting the full Las Vegas Nevada experience. So...expect tons of photos.
We arrived at our hotel around 11pm last night and there was a huge wedding going on. Everyone was out sitting by the lake drinking, so naturally we joined them too. We didn't get to bed until the wee hours in the morning but it was a hilarious few hours.
Here are some shots I took quickly last night of the hotel. It seriously feels like I'm staying at a tropical resort.
