This past week was World MasterCard Fashion Week in Toronto and it was such a fun week. I ended up going to two shows, but realized I was invited to a lot more last minute. On the second day of World MasterCard Fashion Week I found a ton of invitations in my junk mail. Obviously I had missed a few and by the time I RSVP most of the shows were full. I was so sad, but so happy I did get to see two shows. It's always a fun experience to go and my sister and I made a night of it on day 2 when we went to see the Melissa Nepton show. On day 4 I went to the afternoon studio show of Malorie which was amazing!!

Apple Picking

I made my brother pick the apples while I just ate them.

My brother, sister and I set out this past weekend to do the ever so cliche apple picking on Thanksgiving weekend. Luckily by the time we arrived at the orchard, the crowd died down, so we ended up having enough space and had a lot of fun picking our apples. Like I mentioned above, I made my brother pick the apples, while my sister held the bag, and I just snacked away. Being up north or in the country during the fall season is my absolute favourite, as I mentioned in my Thanksgiving post (here). The fall colours are gorgeous and make me feel oh so happy. We ended the day at the orchard by grabbing some fudge, lattes and pie!

Happy Thanksgiving

This past weekend I celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving with my boyfriend and his family at his cottage. I'm so sad because I had a lot of pictures from our lovely dinner on my phone, but unfortunately I had to get a new phone the other day because, my cracked, awful, beyond slow iPhone 4s passed away. Spending Thanksgiving at a cottage is the best way to spend Thanksgiving in my personal opinion. Fall is beautiful up north and nothing gets me more in the Thanksgiving spirit, then looking out to fall leaves surrounding a gorgeous lake. After our dinner I got to spend some time on the dock and the weather was perfect. Cold and crisp, but warm with the sun shining down. Overall a fantastic fall weekend!

 I hope my fellow Canadians all had a lovely Thanksgiving!!

Pumpkin Throwing

Then the pumpkin throwing begins...

Here is my look for today!

I set out to the pumpkin patch the other day and of course had to do some posing with a pumpkin. I was in a weirdly giddy mood (actually not that weird, I usually am) and decided that it would be fun to get a shot of me throwing pumpkins in the air. The day before, I was taking photos and throwing lovely fall leaves in the air, which gave me the idea to throw pumpkins. Why not, right!? I honestly had a hilarious time alone doing this, while my mom (aka my photographer) thought I was insane.

PS only dropped the pumpkin once ;)
