Halloween- Value Village

Value Village is truly the best place to shop for Halloween. You can get vintage and new pieces all in one place. I snagged this vintage dress, and picked up some new makeup and stockings to complete the outfit. The Halloween section is huge and then you get to browse through all the old and find some real treasures.

Deadly Grounds Coffee

I had the pleasure of trying out Deadly Grounds Coffee and fell in love. The original and flavoured roasts are phenomenal. Not only is the packaging perfect (especially for this time of the year) but seriously a great cup of joe. Check out the link above and try out some yummy coffee !

Fall Picnic

Jeans: Mavi || Sweater: Bootlegger || Vest: Buffalo David Bitton || Booties: (Value Village) || Sunglasses: Ray Ban ||

I've always wanted to have a classic fall picnic for so long. I decided this year it was going to happen, and during the Canadian Thanksgiving I packed up all these goodies and set out to the park. The leaves were perfectly scattered on the ground and it couldn't have looked any better. I drank the best apple cider and ate the most delicious fall gingerbread cookies. My mom is a thrift shopper like myself, so over the years she collects the cutest things. This plaid picnic set is something she found thrifting, and I'm so happy I could finally use them!! I decided to go with a very comfy chic outfit for my picnic, and the weather was perfect for a nice feast in the park.

Dufferin Mall Shop Crawl Event

On October 15th over 300 savvy participants took part in Dufferin Mall's first ever ShopCrawl – a wildly popular shopping event in partnership with Canada’s top online community, ChickAdvisor.
ShopCrawl ticket holders enjoyed an evening of spectacular fall shopping at Dufferin Mall’s top tier affordable fashion retailers H&M, American Eagle Outfitters, Winners/Marshalls, GAP Factory, Dynamite, The Children’s Place, Reitmans, Soft Moc, Call It Spring and Trade Secrets. Shopping bags throughout the mall were filling up as participants took advantage of exclusive deals, with retailers offering anywhere between 15% to 50%.

I had such a fun night! It's such a genius night, getting the best stores in the mall to take part in the shop crawl event, offering amazing discounts. Not to mention the sweet swag bag you get at the end of all of your shopping!! I talked to some other shop crawl participants and they wait around all year to take part in these events and do all their Christmas shopping. It's so smart and you can have a great night with some friends!

Make sure you follow me on Instagram -@sydhoff3 to check out all my new pieces from the event.

Camel in the Country

Coat: Yoins || Shirt: (Dad's Old Shirt) || Leggings: Ardene || Boots: Yoins || Bag: Chanel || Scarf: (Thrift) || Sunglasses: Spy ||

There is nothing I enjoy more than heading up north and driving around back roads during the fall season. Grab a cup of joe, make a great playlist and enjoy the beautiful fall colours in the country. I received this classic camel coat from Yoins and I'm obsessed with it. I'm all for the classic fall gear during this season so anything camel, paired with a big plaid blanket scarf excites me beyond.

Pumpkin Picking

Cape: Gentle Fawn || Jeans: Bluenotes || Sunglasses: Ray Ban || Booties: Aldo ||

My mom and I set out to find a pumpkin patch the other day and were sad to find out the patch we were going to go to, was closed. We decided to scratch that idea and just head out in the country to take some pretty fall shots. Lo and behold we stumbled on this cute little pumpkin patch/farm where they had pumpkins hanging from trees!! How cute!!! I obviously am obsessed with this blanket scarf/cardigan/cape. I just love how easy going and how perfectly fall this looks.

Apple Picking

Coat: H&M || Shirt: Gentle Fawn || Jeans : Bluenotes || Boots: Yoins || Sunglasses: Aldo ||

There is really nothing more fall than heading out to a farmers market and picking some apples. Not only does it feel wonderful to enjoy some fresh, crisp, fall air, but you are picking and snacking on healthy fruit!! Obviously, its a must to pick up some pies and butter tarts on your way out...but we don't need to mention that.
I wanted to be comfy and cozy to go apple picking. I mean after all it can get pretty intense trying to climb trees to pick the best apples...or is that just me!?
I seem to always forget about essentials in my wardrobe. I'm always picking up statement pieces, but when I do have an essential piece I constantly wear it. I was thrilled to receive a few essential shirts like this one, from Gentle Fawn. This shirt was perfect for that easy going and comfy look I wanted to achieve for apple picking. This shirt goes with everything!!! Key pieces for every wardrobe.
