Blue Mountain

Coat: Point Zero || Boots: Softmoc || Leggings: Bluenotes || Bag: H&M || Hat: Flufff || Sunglasses: Ray Ban ||

I had so much fun over the last weekend at Blue Mountain. I've been waiting for all the snow to head up there and I had a blast. The village was everything I love. It was full of cute, quaint, chalet style restaurants, boutiques and coffee shops. Everywhere you turn is adorable, with beautiful ski hills in the backdrop of every shot. You definitely feel like you have gone somewhere else, it feels very european. My sister, mom and I set out to indulge in some yummy beavertails, poutine, skiing and sight seeing. I was thrilled to be able to wear some new winter digs and I'm obsessed with this coat from Point Zero. I can't tell you the compliments I get from it. I was even more thrilled when these Mukluks from Softmoc showed up at my door, the day before leaving Blue Mountain. It was ski fashion destiny!!

Winter

Hat : Puffin Hats || Coat: Pink Martini || Turtleneck: Hudson's Bay || Jeans: Buffalo David Bitton || Shoes: Light In The Box ||

With harsh Canadian winters, you really need good quality winter accessories to help you get through it. This Puffin Hat is next level, and the most outrageously amazing hat I've ever worn. The detail in this hat is unlike anything I've had. Even the vintage floral and paisley print mixed in with the hat is adorable. This will truly keep me warm and stylish throughout this winter!!

Comfy at Home

Sweater: Light In The Box || Leggings: Dynamite || Boots:  Light In The Box || Hat: Flufff || Mug: Chapters.Indigo ||

As soon as cold weather hits, I instantly turn to comfy sweaters to keep me cozy. I literally live in long sweaters, with leggings. I feel like I look fashionable, but cozy and I'm truly comfy and warm. I don't want to look too casual, so I like to add a fun pair of boots or leather leggings to dress me up. These faux fur booties are perfect to complete my look. Although the cold weather can get to me, I just love winter fashion!!

Pops of Red

Coat: Light in the Box || Sweater: Bluenotes || Jeans: Mavi || Hat: Flufff || Boots: Hunter Boots || Sunglasses: Ray Ban ||

I'm loving pops of red lately so I was thrilled to find this Light In the Box coat in my mailbox last week. It has such a pretty plaid design with stripes of red. For more of a dressy jacket, it is fairly warm and I can wear this all the time. I've obviously made this outfit more casual with my Hunter Boots, but I could easily make this coat super dressy as well.

Old Montreal Travel Diary

During the Christmas break my sister was in Old Montreal for work, and my other sister, mom and I decided it would be fun to go visit and stay an extra day. We've always wanted to go to Old Montreal because it feels like you're in Europe. Considering Old Montreal is only about a five hour drive from Toronto, its a lot cheaper to head to Montreal than Europe.
Lately, I've decided I should start exploring the beautiful country I live in, rather than spend tons of money flying or paying outrageous exchange rates. Canada is seriously stunning, and I would love to show you the wonders that we have.

Notre Dame Basilica was right across from our hotel and it was breathtaking. This is where I believe Celine Dion was married. I did however wish we did take a tour inside, because that sure looks spectacular.

The evening we arrived we checked into our hotel Hotel Place D'Armes. It was the cutest hotel. Again, it looked like a european building and was super cute inside. When you walk into the lobby, it smelled like christmas! Obviously with Christmas a few days away, they had a pine scent throughout, and it was heavenly. We were thrilled to see our hotel room that included a cozy fireplace and the biggest shower I've ever seen.

My sisters and I decided to take advantage of the fireplace and snuggle in front of it with our bathrobes and bubbly.

Our hotel was right in the heart of Old Montreal. We could walk anywhere in under 15 minutes. Tommy coffee was just down the street, and a must to visit in Old Montreal. The decor inside was amazing and I kid you not I had the most delicious Nutella cronut ever!!!

Here are some shots while wandering the european style streets. I'm a sucker for a cobble stone road, so this whole town made me giddy.

All of our cameras had just died on us as we stumbled on this. City Hall was lit up in the most magical way for Christmas. Considering it was our last night we quickly rushed back to the hotel, charged up and went back to capture this.

We had heard amazing things about our hotel restaurant Suite 701. The decor was the first thing that caught my attention with a modern, Parisian vibe to it. The food was the second thing to catch my attention..seriously delicious brunch! I got the apple and cinnamon french toast and maple syrup, accompanied with coffee and mimosas. Yes this was heaven.

Considering Old Montreal wasn't very far from Toronto, I felt like I was in another country. I highly recommend this to anyone that doesn't want to hop the pond and just enjoy a low key weekend trip in Old Montreal.
